Stephanie and I are lifelong Oregonians who love spending time with friends and family, especially in the outdoors! We both enjoy speaking into lives and mentoring people into their God-given identity and have both been life-coaches and mentors in the past.
Steve has pastored both young adults and youth and has a heart to help people connect with God on a deeper level. He has a strong prophetic gift that he has developed over many years and is an intercessor passionate about spending time with God, hearing what He has for him, his house, and God’s people. The writings Steve will post to this page will be deep, with a touch of humor at times, endeavoring to draw God’s people closer to Him; in to their secret place with God.
Stephanie has worked along-side Steve in ministry, is a worship leader, but she is first and foremost is a beautiful daughter of the King! Identity is so important to Stephanie, so many of her writings will be about truly seeing ourselves the way God sees us and accepting His view of His kids as our own. Worship will also be a huge topic as it too draws His people into the secret place for personal relationship and communion with Him.
How “Harmonizing With Heaven” became our Anthem.
Below is an excerpt from a book that Steve is writing called, “Harmonizing with Heaven”.
I had a vision years ago where the Lord took me to Heaven, but everything was upside down. He then told me that I needed to learn to walk upright from here. After saying this, Heaven was right side up. He went on to tell me I needed to learn what it meant to walk in agreement with Heaven and not my natural senses. Even though, unlike my beautiful wife, I am not a worship leader, I need to learn how to harmonize with the Lord in all I do. Amos 3:3 says, “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?”
In Philippians 4:2 Paul urged Euodia and Syntyche to live in harmony in the Lord. Harmony means to join together in agreement with another. What you are doing is complimenting what they are doing because there is a flow or unity between you and them.
Jesus is the perfect example of what it looks like to harmonize with Heaven in our walk, because everything He did, He did in agreement and in reaction to His Father. John 5:19 says, “Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner”. Jesus lived out of His devotion to His Father and walked out of His agreement with His Father. To do this, He had to live from His place in His Father and not by the pattern of the world around Him. In John 14:11 Jesus said, “Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves.” He lived harmoniously out of His place in His Father, which empowered Him to perform the miracles, signs and wonders that we read about in the Gospels.
